Overclocking Q9300

Right now, I have it stable at 2.83GHz. I read in the sticky I need higher than 800 rated memory to take the FSB over 400.

Will this memory do it for me? I want to get it at 3.0-3.2GHz

hey that's the one I just bought last week. yes i think it will allow you to go higher IF your problem is indeed memory hitting a limit.

the new quads are prtty easy to OC so it should help...what you can do is give a temporary bump to voltage or lower performance mode on your ram now to squeeze a little bit extra out of it until those sticks arrive...but this is definatly a good deal and I have had OCZ sticks before and they worked really well
