Overclocking projector danger

Hello,

Are there any dangers when overclocking a projector?
Unit is a Benq W2000/HT3050 which can do 72 and 75Hz (with CVT Reduced Blank) in 1080p.
One of the parts that will be affected is the color wheel, and I'm not sure if issues could arise from that.

What about underclocking it to 48Hz?
