Overclocking problems only in games.

I have a p3 700 overclocked to 933.When I play any game I get the invalid page fault error message.Everything works fine in a 2d environment.Please somebody give me any suggestions!

Try increasing your CPU voltage. Games are CPU intensive, which means your CPU isn't stable overclocked right now.

Thanks for the response.I have allready increased the voltage from 1.65 to 1.75. Is it safe to increase it even further?

hmm what memory do u have? is it pc133 cas 3 spec? if not try cas3 settings.

Another possibly issue is drivers if its only happening in games. Checked the video and sound drivers? Also, are you running Win2k? If you are, try tuning down hardware acceleration for the SB card and also turning off EAX in the games.

If you've overclocked your video card it might not be stable either. Something to keep in mind.
