My specs are

3000+ 90nm
Abit AV8 latest bios
1gb ballistix pc3200
500w ultrax psu
6800 gt

Right now i only get 2.2ghz stable at 245x9 at 1.5v. LDT is at x4. Ram is at 2.8v with the 333mgz divider but is running at 400mhz 2 2 2 10 1t. Is my cpu a dud that wont oc more? I want to get 2.4ghz but it wont even post at 267x9 with ldt at x3. Please someone help me.

1) what are your temps?
2) are you using a ram divider when FSB is 267?
3) what timings were your ram at when you used 267x9?
4) what is your vcore?

to see if memory is your problem when running at high fsb speeds, use a ram divider to keep the ram near DDR400 speeds. keep HTT (LDT) at less than 1000 to exclude hypertransport from the equation. keep vdimm at 2.8 to ensure you have enough juice. if you're sure it's not your memory, try vcore of 1.6. i think your psu is ok. but you need to check heat too.

1)my temps are fine. 41c idle cooled with xp-90
2)ram was at 333 divider
3)they were 2 2 2 10 1t
4)vcore at 1.55

my ltd was x3. ram is at 2.8v too

I tried 267x9 but with a 266 divider with 2.5 3 3 10 1t and windows booted but not stable. But i did a 333 divider and i get a bsod. What can i do to make this work?

41C sounds awfully high.. what thermal paste are you using?

That exhausts my knowledge of 64 OCing... i leave it the rest of you

arctic silver 5. Its at that temp because voltage is at 1.55. Do i need to raise agp, sb, nb, and ldt voltages as well to get a stable oc?
