I'm new to overclocking. Should I just reset the fsb settings in bios setup or is it a combination of settings? How high can I go with core voltage settings without starting a barbecue? Do I need to set both or can I just get away with one? When I change this stuff do I need to use more cooling?

Yes, you will want to increse the FSB in the bios, take it slow a little bit at a time. Your mobo has a good selection of speeds between 100-133,take it up till it starts to get unstable, then rsise the voltage a bit and try again. Most say 1.85v is safe, but watch the temp, you may need better cooling if you run over 50C or so. I'll send you a link. If you enable your profile I'll send you a link.

good luck

I'm getting either a 600e or 700 and already have the asus p3v4x with ics. Can you post the link? Thanx.
