Overclocking Pc2700 memory to 200x2mhz?

I'm trying to get this memory to go 200mhz, if it can. I tried messing with timings and so forth, but here's the odd thing: it can POST and boot Memtest86 at 400mhz RAM speed at CL 2.5, and will spew errors all over the place. However, if I try booting with a CL of 3.0, I get a AMI beep code 8, and won't even POST.

The LED diagnostic MSI gives on the back let me know at CL 3.0 it wasn't getting past the first part of POST, but CL 2.5 at 400mhz gets through POST just fine. When I tries messing with timings to x-5-5-8, it didn't seem to help at all. I tried CL 2 at 400mhz just for the hell of it and it won't even get to a beep code, so I am rather confused at this point.

I can mess with voltages, but I don't know what default is to raise from. What is the safest max voltage I can go to? From what I can tell, I have all Spectek modules from 0318, 2003 week 18 production, S80032VMCTW-6A chips all around.

What steps do you think I should take to get this running at a 200mhz memory bus? Is it possible with these ram chips? My chipset, Kt600, has the necessary dividers to work correctly. Please post if you know how I can get around this.

Well, in the meanwhile I think I answered my own question. I can't even run this stick at CL 2 Auto-everything-else. It freezes up partway through loading windows. That sucks.

I guess I'll have to buy another stick later on when memory prices have come back down : p
