Overclocking anything is possible. If you would like to OC the Northwood, then you need to increase the FSB. This is the only way. In order to increase the stability of your OC, you will have to increase the Voltage aka Vcore.

Increaseing the Voltage and/or FSB can be done in the BIOS when you boot. Be sure to use adaquate cooling when doing this, not that the NW is a VERY cool (temp :) ) CPU.

Yes, very easy.

turn up the fsb and then the vcore if needed.

Start reading some posts here for an education on overclocking.

You should be able to get to 133 FSB without
changing the Vcore if you have a good power supply.
that's 133x20=2660 mhz.
if you want to get higher you shoud raise uo the vcore,
since you have p4s333 that support DDR333, why don't you sell
your pc2100 and get a pc2700, i heard kingmax is good.

i might be interesting of buying your kingston if you plan so.... :)

Gradually increase your FSB to making sure your system remains stable as you go up , when it becomes unstable { won't boot up , wont play your most demanding game or software } then back off your FSB about 5 notches IE: 135 to 130 { just an example } then your system will be fine and youll know your limits also make sure your PCI stays under 40 you may have to do a pll16 in your bios to keep your PCI under 40, also don't be afraid to up your voltage to your DDR memory by .2 volts and your AGP by .3 volts I have my Micron DDR pc2100 running at 340 mhz and its very stable not ONE problem with it since I upped the mhz over a month ago. You can also up your voltage to your cpu just check yuor temp to make sure its not too hot { heat is your worst enemy }. The reason you want to keep your PCI at 40 or less is it can stress your PCI card to much over 40, again you can set your PLL to 16 in BIOS and this will bring your PCI bus down dramatically.

Well what do you know, of cause this doesn?t work. I tried the 2600 MHz setting in the bios, FSB 133, Vcore 1,50V. That didn?t work. The computer wouldn?t boot up. Then I tried to increase the Vcore step by step up to 1.65 V. But that didn?t even work. I see that allot of you have the same processor as me and you can overclock it easily. Maybe I should lower the FSB setting.

p.s. I have a wary good power supply, 340W
