I have 256 MB of PC133 RAM, and I am currently running at the m-board at 100 MHz. It seems like if I overclock much at all, I start having hard drive problems.

Any recommendations? I think this m-board will allow me to run the PCI bus at lower speeds... What speeds should I try?

be more specific. what speeds have you tried. that board has no core voltage adjustment does it? if not that will hamstring you.

What HDD have you got? what FSB speeds did you try?

Like Plester said ,we need more info

Well, just about any speed above 100 MHz seemed to give the HD problems...

I am trying now 117 MHz, but with a lower PCI bus setting. So far it seems more stable.

in a perfect world you need to get to 133 w/ a 1/4 pci divider. 117 w/ 1/4 pci = 29mhz. often a pci running well below spec can act funky too, less so than at 39+mhz. have you tried 133. i have a 650E cB0 that does 866 at def. voltage, maybe you do too.

I think you are right...

I think one hard drive is Maxtor make, and the other is IBM.

I now have the FSB at 124 MHz, for a speed of 806 MHz. So far it seems to be running well...

I tried 133, and I was getting some file errors on boot-up.(My anti-virus dll's actually...)

According to my hardware monitor, my temperature hasn't gone up at all, and my CPU voltage is still in the 1.65 range. (If I recall correctly...)

Maybe I'll stick with this for a while and see.

BTW, at what FSB speed does the PCI go to 1/4? I am assuming it is running at 1/4 at 124 MHZ...
