Overclocking options for a Tbird 850 and K7T turbo-r

My parts should arrive wednesday. I'll need to unlock the processor (which I have never done before). I know I need to connect the L1 bridges. But I've recently heard people mention that some processors need the L6 or L7 bridges connected also. Would this be the case for me with a K7T turbo-R? I know the turbo-r supports voltage adjustments through the bios so I assumed I didn't need to do anything to the L6 or L7 bridges.

Also, what kind of speeds should I expect out of this combination? I've got the 850 tbird and 256mb Crucial Cas2 PC133.

Tbird 850 running at 7.5X133 = 1 gigahertz on my EPOX 8KTA3 motherboard, havent tried to push it any further though because
1- using generic HSF that came with the board & CPU
2- using old powerman 235Watt powersupply from my old case

Connect all L1 bridges to unlock the cpu
Connect all L7 bridges to set voltage at 1.85V on powerup
Connect a few L6's to set the default clock multiplier *NOTE* look this one up on the "how to overclock athlon" reviews as they will have the charts with the settings for the L6 that you can choose from

So if I have the turbo-R I shouldn't have to worry about anything other than the L1 bridges?

on my a7v133 it boots at default voltage then once you get through bios it goes to your settings.not for sure if this applys to you but it is why you have to mess with other bridges even if you have bios that adjusts it.

I got a k7t turbo and t bird 850 runs stable at 1008 the l1 are penciled in. The only problem u may have is with the heat, the thermistor is below the cpu and touches the bottom of the cpu, i basically ignore the temps, I have a water cooler on here so i think it is a motherboard issue
