I have an Intel D850MD motherboard which i was earlier using with an p4 1.6(not a northwood). I have bought a 1.6a(northwood) and would like to know how do i overclock as this motherboard does not seem to have any overclocking features at all. does it have anything to do with the jumpers on the motherboard. i dont want to get a new motherboard as i am short on cash..please help
thanx in advance

Overclocking is not possible on Intel motherboards. There are no options, no jumpers, no dipswitches. The entire board is autodetect. You may be able to get some speed out of using SoftFSB, but that is doubtful on the newer Intel motherboards.

If you want to overclock, you will need to purchase another motherboard.
