Okay, I basically want everyone to confirm what I think I already know...I am building soon a new P3 933 system running of course on the 133mhz bus and overclock it...What I want to know is if my old PC100 memory out of my current system will work. I mean, if it is of a good brand (Crucial, Micron, Toshiba) is it possible it will make the overclock to around 140 mhz FSB, or should I just put put it in my mom's machine and have done? Thanks

Usually better PC100 SDRAM can make it to 133MHz CAS3....but they usually won't make it far over 133MHz. I think you should try it out first....you never know until you try, and each individual stick of RAM's performance is different. Once you have tried 140MHz FSB and it doesn't work, then pass on the RAM and get yourself a new stick.

Bascially, everything Andy said is correct. Good quality PC100@CAS2 should be able to do 133@CAS3 without too much trouble, but not a whole lot beyond that, although it depends on your specific stick, you might be able to do 133@CAS2 and do 140@CAS3 easily. I would suggest trying it out first before you decide to get rid of it.
