Hey team,
I'm over clocking, in windows I've upped my to the speed my RAM can take, my multiplier is locked now I'm looking to increase the voltage but in windows, suggestions?

first off, what are your system specs? also what OCing program are you using?

Ok good question, my specs:

2 x Quad Xeon X5355's @3.2ghz - 1.313v FSB@1600mhz
12GB DDR2 FB-DIMM Kingston HyperX @ 800Mhz
Sapphire 5870 1GB + XFX 5970 2GB Crossfirex 850/1200
SATA III 6GB/s + USB 3.0 Asus U3S6
Bluetooth 2.1 + 802.11n
2 x 64GB OCZ Vertex 2E SSD's RAID 0
60GB Crucial C300 6GB/s
1.5TB WD Green
1.0TB WD Green
Liteon Blu-Ray R/W x12
1000w PSU
5.25" 450 PSU

Running Windows 7 Pro x64
Mac OS X 10.6.4

Secondly the software I've been using thus far is stuff like Systool, and anything else that's free I can get my hands on, but Systool seems to work best/ easiest for me :)

Really? Raid 0? Let me carry some of that filthy lucre that's burning a hole in your pocket. Unless you benchmark, you're being very foolish with your money.

Why? my read write speed is awesome and my SSDs are pretty good... And quite cheap

RAID 0 SSDs grant a noticable performance boost. Quite a few tasks will benefit. If you're going to criticize, point the finger at his dual Xeons - very few things can benefit from having that much cpu power.

Agreed and agreed, But I got dual xeons for £250 so not to bad a deal.

well the motherboard might be to blame for no OC. i dont know of any 771 boards that were mainstream OCing boards.

That's fair, is there any software out there that enables you to increase the voltage...?

If its not a option in the bios, then voltage adjustment via a program is very unlikely. FSB is different, most boards can be forced to OC through them and same with the multi. Your best bet for more voltage likely comes down to a pin-mod for the 771 if it is documented, and I dont know if it is or not. 771 are not known for being OC boards but for servers.

Ok no problem I'm fairly content that I've pushed my CPU as far as I can, My FSB is up as far as it can go with the RAM availible to my motherboard (FB-DIMM) and my multiplier is locked and I can't increase the voltage, so 3.2 is where I'll stay... :) Thanks anyway
