If anyone can provide me with links or explanations as to how exactly you overclock a CPU, Ram, anything. I heard that you have to physically do things to the processors or something in order to overclock, others mention it in BIOS. I'll be getting a 3500+, and although am not really a fan to the idea of overclocking, I'm wondering how exactly you overclock a processor, or ram, or anything.

ever heard of google? just type in "how to overclock computer".

basically just by upping the FSB and/or changing the multiplier (if supported) in BIOS settings, and other settings such as vcore, vdimm, agpv, for stability. along with necessary cooling.

Tweaktown has it all. Check out their overclocking guides for cpu's and video cards. Also their operating system guide, Reformat to Relax, will help a lot.

Thanks, I just wanted links from people who already know what they're talking about, rather than finding random, and potentially unsound, links from the net.

Looks like far too much trouble than it's worth to me :p
