Overclocking my memory

Well, I finally got the computer to run stable thanks to a BIOS flash. Now it's time for some tweaking ;)

I'm currently running the mobile Athlon XP 2400+ on a Biostar "M7NCG 400" nForce2 motherboard. Unfortunately, I made a bad decision in the RAM. I went off the specs on the mobo instead of doing my reading on overclocking first (i wonder what neweggs return policy is). So, I'm running Kingmax 512MB DDR PC-2700 RAM.

I'm wondering who here has overclocked this RAM already? I'm hopefully going to be overclocking the RAM today (well, start on it) once I get the CPU and RAM running in sync.

For those that have overclocked this RAM, what settings did you use? Where there noticeable effects to the system?

Thanks in advance.

i recommend getting some quality pc3200, the kingmax hasn't shown to be good overclocking memory.

i think you could get 180mhz tops with agressive timings with no less than 2.8-2.9v.
