I was wondering if I were to overclock my graphics card between 20-50mhz would there be any noticable differences?

well, you will find higher fps and maybe smoother gameplay. for example, the difference between the x800 xt and x800 xt platinum edition is just 20mhz. by ocing the x800xt 20mhz, you just saved spending $50-100 on a vid card to get one of the highest end cards. all in all, yes, you it will perform better, but it depends on you and the game for there to be any noticable difference.

depending on the type of 9800se (what you have), it may be possible to "softmod" to get MUCH better performance without anything but a software install. if you have a 9800se with 256-bit ram, you should download the OMEGA drivers and try the "9800SE softmod" option (or something like that). if this results in artifacting/checkerboarding, you can turn it back to normal by re-installing the drivers.
