I want to overclock my system, but my motherboard only has an option to modify fsb/pci clocks. It has the following options (fsb/pci):
- 100/33
- 110/37
- 115/38
- 120/30
- 122/30
- 129/32
- 133/33
- 138/35
- 147/37
I don't want to run the pci bus at a lower speed. So only left 110/37, 115/38, 133/33, 138/35 and 147/37. But I suppose that 133, 138 and 147 are too high for the cpu. What do you think?
Is dangerous to overclock with only this option (no Vcore, fixed FSB/PCI clocks, etc)? Should I try with the lower speeds (110/37, 115/38) or may I fry the pci cards or the ram?
Here is my system:
AOpen AK33, KT133
Athlon Thunderbird 1.3
Taisol CGK760092
256 (Siemens) + 128 (Trascend Information) SDRAM PC133
Asus GeForce2 MX 32 SDRAM
HD Fujitsu 20GB 7200
Pioneer DVD-105
AOpen CD-RW 2440
Realmagic Hollywood+
Creative ModemBlaster V92 PCI
Creative SoundBlaster PCI128
Thanks.
