I tried installing Rivatuner and it won't install. All I get is an error message showing folder destination and "Rivatuner224c-[Guru3d.com].exe is not a valid Win32 application". That's the only program I remember that I've used to overclock a gpu. What do I try now? I would try ATITools but I can't find a non-2006 version of it.
Figured out the Rivatuner issue. I am overclocking the memory now using ATI Tray Tools for benching and artifact scanning and Rivatuner for the actual overclock. How long should I be scanning for artifacts between each incremental increase in speed?
