overclocking MSI GF2 PRO - help

ok, I just got the MS-8831 GF2 PRO card w/ 64MB 5ns mem.

How do I overclock it? I have never OC'd a vid card b4. it comes w/ 3D turbo 2001 for OCign and I tried coolbits for win2K for overclocking. Neither seem to work.

I right click on desktop then properties . . . settings . . . advanced . . . geforce 2 . . . additional props . . . and there I am stuck 🙁

shouldn't there be a performance tab or something to select?

I am using WIN 2k PRo if that helps . . . .

thanks in advance,
Ryan

update: I am getting into 3D turbo 2k1, but it doesn't recognize the monitor or vid card!

any help?

I don't know much about win2k, it might be with what Det's your using.

Try using NVMAX to overclock, I had some troubles with 3dturbo 2001, and nvmax helped out a lot.

Hope it helps.

EDIT: FIXED LINK

Yes, nvmax should work, but i think it just uses the coolbits registration hack.

You can also try "riva tuner" or "powerstrip".

What driver are you using??
If your using the 12.41 , coolbit doesn't work.
You have to do some modifying to make it work.
Do a search on coolbit or 12.41 on this forum.
