Overclocking mobile GPUs

My friend has a Dell Inspiron E1705 (Windows XP) with the GeForce Go 7900GS GPU. How would we go about raising the voltage on the GPU? Are there any GUI programs to do it or do we have to flash the BIOS?

Does it lower the voltage when going into 2D power-saving mode, or only the frequency? It seems like it would lower the voltage so I'm wondering where these voltages are stored/controlled. Is it possible to customize them?

If we are not seeing artifacts is it safe to assume the voltage is sufficient for the specified frequency? Why are there no ForceWare 9x.xx drivers for the mobile GPUs yet?

Anyone have a clue as to where the 7900GS Go (mobile) lies in relation to the 7800GT (desktop) with regards to performance? Slower? Faster?

Thanks.

I use a 7900GS GO in my Toshiba P105.

Overvolting a GPU within the restricted cooling space of a notebook is not a good idea, IMO.

From what I read on nvidia's site, both.

I use these and they work great, Xtreme G Mobile Edition 91.47.

Slower, but it uses far less power and runs a good deal cooler.
