My 8rda+ will not be able to use multi's over 12.5 so in order for me to OC my new chip with a bus of 180 I am going to have to do something to get the multi up to 14 or 15. Saw the pin modding thing and that is something I am willing to try but I also saw a thread talking about a windows based program that will allow you to change the multiplier. Is anyone using this and if so how well does it work? Or does the bios have to be able to access the multi before this is functional?

As stated in your earlier thread, I've got the 8RDA (non + version) board with a mobile 2600. I tried using several programs, including CPUMSR, to try to access the multipliers above 12.5x.

The system would lock up hard when I tried to set the multiplier to 13x or higher using the program. :(

I finally gave up, and am happy using a multiplier of 12.5x.

You can either do the wire in the socket trick for a multi higher than 12.5 to activate the high side multis or you can do like me and cut 1 L3 bridge and get a multi higher than 12.5 so that I could run a mobile 2400 on my A7N8X, which suffers the same problem as your RDA.
