Overclocking Messed Up My Windows

Yesterday I was trying to overclock my A64 3000+ CPU, but when I reached 240Mhz frequency, windows XP seized to startup, and it always shows the message (ISASS.exe - System Error - An invalid parameter was passed to a service or function)
I tried to repair the windows, but the message still shows during the repair process the PC restarts. Is there anything I can do to fix it? Or should I just reinstall it?

If it is XP Pro, don't use the first repair. Let setup go until it searches for existing operating systems. Then select repair. (this is after you agree to the EULA)

Did clock it back down to stock speeds yet, do that first and see if it will work then or repair install, if not... stock speed and reformat / install.

I've done some more research and found that Lsass ( or lsass ) is a system file
Isass (or isass ) is a sasser worm. I'm not sure which problem you have? Here are some links:

Never install or repair Windows when running overclocked.

Always set it back to stock to avoid introducing corruption when installing or repairing an OS.
