Scan happens to be my 2nd fav retailer, the first being Yoyotech as they have a brick'n'mortar shop down in TCR
 
i use scan and OCUK since you can get free next day shipping with both. oddly, i've never heard of a scan special event before though.

They had a sound card masterclass a few months back and a special gaming event with a full gaming rig as a prize a couple of months before that.
