Overclocking = Lagging/Choppiness in games???

Has anyone ever found lagging and choppiness in games after overclocking. Did it become ok after reducing the overclock.

Please give details.

test it for stability.. it shouldnt be laggy/choppy in games unless something is bottlenecking or erroring due to the overclock.
memory maybe? id test everything for stability. my sempron is overclocked 800mhz and everything is running fine. woot.

I had that with a video card overclock once. As soon as I reduce the clocks everything was fine again.

This is most likely due to throtteling. Check your temps.

I had issues like this in the past, I attributed it to a weak powersupply, but it could be throttling too I suppose.

When it's on the verge of stability, it makes errors in calculations.

You guys are not familiar with him here on the CPU forums...He's basically really bad @ explaining his problems and jumps to conclusions. I quick visit to the video forum will prove what I mean...he's basically a legend there XD
