I just wanted to share, This probably belongs more in offtopic. but then again it is about over clocking. I have a celly 2 566@850 at 1.7 v. this morning, (before the lan party) I wanted to see how hi I could go.... well, I was at 112mhz fsb. and the cpu was starting to boot up at 952 mhz. and was going well, then I had a windows intialization error. "not prob, I thought, just try again" Well, that's when it happened. restarted, came up wanting to go to safe mode, thought, hey, let it boot into win. in safe mode at that speed. then it went into the registry editor (think that is what it is called.) then it started to backup and restore the registry. at 16% it locked up... uh-oh.. I was thinking.. waited a while to make sure it was locked up.. then I decided I had to do it. and hit the reset button. almost instantly it came up with a Bios Rom Check sum error. and I about wet my undies.. Well to make a long story short, I found a computer that I could jump on the net with, downloaded aweflash and the newest bios version for my BH6 board. and flashed the bios, after I got it to boot to the a: prompt and now it is working great. hence I decided not to fool around to much with overclocking anymore. But I'm still running at 850.. and all this was done by 11 a.m. just in time for the lan party.

Figure this will last for about a day, then I'll be back at singing, "How High, can I go... How high can I go.."
