overclocking in windows

hey, recently my mobo died, so I'm in the market for a new cheap one till my next pc build next year, the most adequate candidate (for the price of course) is the Abit IL9 PRO, but you can't overclock within the bios, so my question is, can I do it from windows?

There is a way but it is not as good as doing it through the bios, and it is not compatible with all motherboards. As always be carefule not to let the magic smoke out when playing with overclocking. Keep an eye on temperatures, very important!!!! But with doing a software overclock more than likely your computer will freeze up and you will have to simply reboot, but better to be safe than sorry and take small steps and test for stability after each step.

with this you could probably do a 10% or more if it is compatible.
