Hey guys! I'm planning to oc my i5 and I need better cooling, but at the same time I don't want to overspend on on the cooler. Can some of you give me an advise on what CPU cooler makes sense to pair with my i5? Thanks!
 
i ran a 6-core i7 8700 at 5GHz using a variety of high end-air. temps (ambient 20c) in the low- to mid-80's, with spikes to the 90's. good aio's get 5-10c cooler, but cost even more.
 
For under $70US he should be looking at Scythe heatsinks. A lot of cooling for the money. Reeven is pretty good, too.
