Overclocking help 4400+

Hi

My current specs for my system are:

OCZ modstream 450W
ASRock 939dual sata
AMD X2 4400+
EVGA 7900gtx
1 gig ocz platnium rev.2 ram

I am trying to overclock this cpu and have gotten it to 100% stable at 2.5ghz idle's at around 39 degrees celcius. Multiplier is at 11x228, ram timings are 2-3-3-5, and the HTT multiplier is 4, cpu vcore at 1.375. I have tried going to 2.6 with upping the voltage to 1.4, the system boots and goes to the windows screen but reboots. Is this due to the lack of voltage going to cpu? If I do the vcore mod onto the mobo to get 1.55 vcore would this help my overclock?

Thanks in advance
Manny
