Overclocking Guide for New Kids

I searched the forums, searched stickies, searched everywhere. I can't seem to find an OC Guide for new kids (myself) - I don't mean, 'Yo so I did this and that and this and that' - I am new to OC'ing as in, the most OC'ing I've ever done is 'Hey a cool GUI that comes with ASUS and I click a slider that makes it go higher, cool' - But I really don't 'understand' what I'm doing with multipliers and different cores / FSB speeds and different settings. Anyone know of a guide that I can read to not be so ignorant on this issue?
