overclocking geforce2mx - heatsink for memory?

I'm trying to overclock a visiontek geforce 2mx. I can't get anything above the default speeds right now, and the card runs pretty hot to the touch. I found fans with heatsinks for the chip, but reviews everywhere say the core clock speed doesn't matter that much. I need to cool off the memory. Any suggestions?
