Quick question for you knowledgeable folks:
I?m running an Athlon XP 1900 on a ASUS A7A-266 motherboard. If I just want to overclock my FSB settings from the default 133 to, say, 145, can I do that all from bios without touching the board itself? I have the latest revision (1012), but overclocking the FSB did not work when I tried it.
One thing I think might be responsible is that the BIOS says I have to change my CPU speed to ?manual? in order to change FSB speeds (it won?t let me change the CPU multiplier either?).
So ? any suggestions? I shouldn?t have to modify my VCore in attempting this right? Am I missing something big? Thanks so much for your time!!
