i have a p4 1.6(a) that's overclocked to 2.14. things are stable except i have one issue. every time i go to reboot i have to unplug my usb intellimouse optical mouse or the pc won't fully reboot into windows. is there a way to solve this dilemma? seems like the usb port doesn't like the overclocking. i own an asus p4t-3 mobo by the way.

sounds like you got it. back it down or just keep unpluging.

aahh... just how much "rebooting" are you having to do ? or are there other symptoms of instability your willing to live with?
good luck

That happened to me when I had an Asus board and MS usb mouse.
It didn't happen with a Logitech mouse though. Same with the ms and logitech usb keyboards.

Never found an answer so I sold the Asus board because I like MS mice and keyboards too much.
