Check what your temps are in the bios and post them.

Hysteresis \Hys`te*re"sis\, n. [NL., fr. Gr. ? to be behind, to lag.] (Physics) A lagging or retardation of the effect, when the forces acting upon a body are changed, as if from velocity or internal friction; a temporary resistance to change from a condition previously induced, observed in magnetism, thermoelectricity, etc., on reversal of polarity.

I believe it means your system is overheating... atleast thats what the computer thinks. If you check in the bios and it's running "normal" for a duron then you need to change the temperature monitoring around so that the warning shows up when your comp hits a higher temperature than what it's currently set at.
