Overclocking damaging power supply?

I recently overclocked my AMD CPU. Then I did my Voodoo3, and everything was running fine. Then my power supply burnt up. Was this a coinedence or did I cause it?
 
I've never heard of a power supply burning up because of overclocking. Usually the ps just can't power the system up and there are unexpected system restarts.
