Overclocking BFG 6800GT - What am I doing wrong?

Okay, so I just got my BFG 6800GT card today, installed it, and it's working perfectly. I installed coolbits and used the utility to detect optimal frequencies. It detected 416 MHz. I clicked use these frequencies on start up, clicked apply, then okay. I rebooted the machine, and it was back at the default 370 MHz. I redit the optimal frequencies thing, it came back about the same, I clicked apply and ok. Then, I go back into the display properties, and it's back to default again. What am I doing wrong?
