overclocking barton 2500

anyone have a good link on how to unlock the barton 2500. i bought the little unlocker from frozencpu but it doesn't seem to work. would appreciate it.

The new Bartons can't be unlocked. You're stuck with overclocking via the FSB only.

Ignore that. Below is a guide, but be careful things can go bad very quickly. I've never done this myself.

BTW I found this in .16 seconds using Google. It works miracles. :p

AMD Unlock Guide

That's hardly practical... and not guaranteed to work. WAY more work involved with that than with the old Palomino's and simply connecting the L1 bridges... and with that mod, you still need software to adjust the multiplier.

Correct about the software. Since you've got a Abit mobo, go here to see if anyone develpoed the software for the abit yet.

You are right on all accounts. But you are wrong that it can't be done, which is why I posted the link. ;)
