Got a pair of ceramic AthlonMP 1.2s from NewEgg for my ASUS A7M266D, and now the overclocking bug is biting. FSB overclocking is basically out, as my Promise Ultra133 TX2 craps out at 138, because it's in a PCI66 slot.

Anyone besides me think that 1400MHz is realistic @ 1.85V with decent air cooling? I'm going to have to hard-mod the multiplier. :disgust:

I have a pair of MP1600, which of course are 1400MHZ stock, that I have had for 6 months, and with a pair of Golden sockets I have bumped them up to a stable 1600 MHZ so I think you are right in the ballpark of expecations. One of these processors will do 1667 stable but the other isnt quite stable at that speed. All you can do it try it and see what happens.
