Overclocking Athlon 1.2Ghz on ECS K7VZA

I have a AMD athlon 1.2 Ghz on a ECS K7VZA motherboard. I would like to overclock the processor to compare results, but I heard my motherboard is a poor at overclocking. Has anybody else ever attempted this feat? My stats on this sytem is below. I have a Cooler Master Heatsink and fan, cant remember model, but rated up to 1.4 Ghz.

Also, i have an older system i play with. Its a Pentium 166 MMX on a Aopen AP58 motherboard. It currently has 96 MB Dimm PC-66 ram. I would like to overclock it a little. How and any expirence people? The heatsink and fan on this, a cooler master, rated up to 200 Mhz.

How far will each system reach overclocked? Help ME!!
