Overclocking and XP

When other people (maybe you? ) have a failed OC attempt, does it get stuck on the XP loading screen? That always happens to me. It just gets stalled on the XP loading screen, where the bar just keeps loading...loading...and loading some more, even though it's not actually loading anything. So basicly it won't boot. Was just wondering if it's the same kinda thing that happens to others.

It could get stuck in the loading screen, it may blue screen on you, it might not "do anything"; the symptoms are going to very depending on which piece of hardware fails first and what it fails in (i.e. CPU, RAM, cache, etc.).

If you set everything to stock speeds does it boot properly? If that's the case it's pretty safe to assume you've pushed it too far...
