hi there

does anyone know how to overclock an amd 64 3400 using an asus k8n-e delux with 1 gig of ocz ddr400 memory.

to cool it im usning an vapochill ls

please help🙁

you have a vapochill and you are asking how to overclock. Holy smoke. You ONLY got a 240fsb? 2880? That is pretty damn good I would say. I would try to raise the memory back up to 400 or more (with the htt mem divider at 5:4 so at fsb {not really fsb} 240 should get you 192 memory speeds [pretty close to standard DDR400]). You should try to get 1:1 memory stable at 440 by getting some DDR500 memory. Raise the memory voltage to as high as the motherboard will allow

i have the mem at high vlts alreday. how come some people are getting 250 fsb??? i do now how to clock to a certain extent im new to the 64 chips but not sure what the htt is for!!!

Well you're at 2.8 GHz... you're probably at the limit of the chip. Try a lower multiplier and see if you can get the "fsb" higher.
