The Zalman cools better, of course. That's why it's more expensive. And no, you won't need a new power supply, if you keep the processor and video card you have now. You asked earlier about overclocking an E6400, along with running an 8800GTX, that's why I told you that you'd need to replace your power supply. Your power supply would run your processor at whatever it will run at, along with a 7600GS or a 7600GT, with no problems at all, I would guess.Originally posted by: ibex333

PS: Hmmm.. after the last 3 replies, I'm just confused. It turns out I can buy a good cooling solution, OC, and NOT upgrade my PSU. (that is unless I'll be getting one of the high end video cards)
Oh, and no, you don't have to remove your motherboard to install a Zalman 9500/9700. You have to remove it to install all of the heatsinks that cool even better, but not for either the Zalman's or the AC Freezer 64.
