overclocking affects wireless internet connections?

i don't know if its my setup, or if i just got a bad wiress adapter, but my internet connection constantly disconnects and has problems with stability. sometimes i'm able to view my internet connects and disable, then renable the connection. other times, the stupid thing freezes up and i have to reboot to get my internet connection back. i read somewhere that wireless adapters just don't like OC'ed processors, but somehow i doubt it. I have a mobile barton 2400+ @2.3ghz on a nf7-s v2 mobo and 1 gig corsair xms pc3500 ram. my usb adapter is a linksys 802.11b. anyone else have the same problems as i do?

Why dont you try to run it at stock speeds and check if still occurs. If yes then its not because of the overclock. which I doubt anyways.

Yep, that board has a PCI and AGP lock, so overclocking shouldn't affect your PCI adapters.

Some wireless drivers are still a little flaky.
If your machine isn't 100% stable it might have problems.
On a side note: I was having disconnect problems aswell when I went to water cooling. I assumed it was the overclock, and tried several different cards with them all doing th esame thing. One day I moved the pump, and magically the problems stopped.
