overclocking adventure begins again

Just got the asus p6x58d premium, as well as a haf x and 6 GB 2000 MHz kingston hyper x. So far, these are my results:

-System takes a bit of time to post...wont boot from SSD, says no HDD detected...
-but in bios, it is present
-updated to latest bios
-Eventually, tried booting from my win7 install flash drive, and reinstalled windows, which fixed the problem, booting works
-Began overclocking...set vcore to 1.4125 v, set CPU 27x160. Adjusted uncore voltage, set memory voltage to 1.64, set memory to about 1925. Linx fails after 2 passes. I suspect memory, (I know my vcore is sufficient, was less on other board, just started out here to see vdroop, which is only down to 1.4 instead of 1.376) and decrease frequency to 1600. Linx passes 20 passes.
-upped uncore slightly, checked timings, which were tighter than kingston specifies for the higher frequency. adjusted timings
-linx passes 5 passes, will do more testing and overclocking later

I also plan to see if I can overclock more once I get my h2o installed. Right now I seem temp limited. Will also tweak uncore frequency more.

What was your old mobo? That is a substantial improvement on Vdroop.

CPU LL default setting is Auto on the newer Asus series boards, which basically mean On while loaded.

keep in mind that this vdroop was happening with LL enabled, it was just less than it was with it disabled.

well, I think I got it at 4.4 stable, will post final pics after I try for 4.5. Might not be able to do it though.
