Overclocking A64 NewCastle 3200+

I've just started attempting an overclock on my system:

NewCastle Athlon 64 3200+
DFI Lanparty UT 250

On my first few runs I got 2.4GHz (11x220). HTT = 4x, CPU VID = 1.5v;

It booted fine and my temps were ok. I ran OCCT and it said it was stable, and 3DMark05 ran with no problems. When I tried to launch BF2, however, my computer locked up when I had been in the game for about 2 seconds (My VideoCard isn't overclocked).

What would you recommend changing to both OC my CPU more, and keep it more stable?

Thanks in advance guys!

Does it do that every time or did it jsut do that once?

BF2 is an incredibly buggy game; I know, because it crashes on me all the time. If it only did it once I'd just put it down to DICE's wonderful work. :roll:
