i'm pretty new to overclocking since i've never done it before. i want to overclock my athlon 64 but i don't really know what to do or anything. could someone maybe give me some tips or advice? here are my specs:

athlon 64 3200+ socket 754 (clawhammer)
asus k8v
1 gig (2x512) ocz pc3200 ddr400 ram, 2-3-2-5
radeon 9800
seagate 80gig sata hd
thermalright xp-90 heatsink
thermaltake 420w psu

my idle temp right now is about 32/33c and load temp is about 42c. i was thinking i might want to overclock to maybe 2.4ghz or a little higher if i could.

I don't think the K8V has a PCI/AGP bus lock, which will severely limit your overclocking.
