Just got my setup running last night ... oc'ing the video card is next :)

Any suggestions on what's the best approach to oc the card? I'm using atitool but it seems like it'll just up the mem core and the card breaks?

What's a good temperature to keep the card?

thanks in adv!

hey i keep my x800gt under 60 C (by keeping it at stock and 100% fan speed). i would recoomend lower than 60 or max 70.

Thanks -- I had the atitool run to find max speed and it kept on going, it went over 61C and held there for while. I wasn't sure if that was a safe temp. so I just aborted.

60C is nothing to worry about. I'd try to keep it under 70C, but even 70-80 is not too bad.

u should be able to get about 450mhz on the core and 850 on the mem without breaking a sweat. with an aftermarket cooler and a volt mod i had my old MSI RX800 (same thing as urs, DDR1 RAM and all) runnin at a smooth 485/980. Basically runnin a x800pro. they arnt bad little cards for the price and waaay outperform anything close to em (6600gt)
