overclocking a tbird 700

i just ordered a tbird 700 today from edgemicro. i'm putting it on a rev 1.8 fic SD11, any ideas how high an overclock i could reasonably expect? plenty of power available, decent memory

The slot As weren't great overclockers and I think you need a GF device to juice it, However, it's been so long since I've heard anything about them that I could be wrong.

i have the SD11 board
your pretty much screwed unless you get a golden finger device
you could also get a program that lets you adjust the fsb in real time from a running os i think it is called soft fsb
while oc'n the slot processors yur gonna hafta worry about the cache
since it is external and at a factor of the clock
my cache ran at 300 on my 600 athlon
it ran at 1/2 clock speed ratio
so you need to look for a program and posibly a "fixed" bios to mess with those ratios
higher chip frequencies might be too high for the cache after a certain ratio so it is good to be able to drop it to 1/3 or less
as far as a mild overclock that goes away when you reboot then that's how soft fsb works
that's it's only down fall
have fun
