Okay, I'm ready. I've had enough of this 240mhz crap, and I wanna get it up a bit more. Now, what utility can I use to safely overclock this Powercolor Radeon 9250? According to this article, they got it up to 346mhz, which is almost the equivalent of a GeForce 6200 PCI. Now, first, how the hell do I overclock? Secondly, what's a safe overclock for this card? And thirdly, will I really get much of a performance boost with a 100mhz overclock?

Specs:
256MB Powercolor Radeon 9250
240mhz core clock
400mhz memory clock
128-bit interface

Here's a link to powerstrip which is a software utility used to overclock ATI cards. To be honest, I've never used it as, I usually always use nVidia cards. I've heard nothing but good things about this software and it should work for you. Make sure you read up on it and try it. Let me know if this works for you and good luck.

Wow, this actually worked. I used RivaTuner to overclock my video card, and thanks to many sources and help (mainly you guys and EdgeForums.net :D), I was able to get a stable overclock to 295/221. Sure, it's not much compared to the 7900GTX of today, but hey, what can you expect from a PCI slot of a Dell? Thanks for the help :)

The framerate difference wasn't much (~10+ on UT2004), but it still works.
