Overclocking a Q6600

I recently bought a Q6600 combo with an ECS G31T-M motherboard from Fry's and this motherboard needs to be replaced. It didn't even fit right in my Antec P180 and I couldn't get it to overclock at all.

I am looking for a decent motherboard that I can get for around $100 that has decent overclocking features, I don't need the latest and greatest features but would like it to be decent quality.

I have 4 gigs of DDR2 800 memory, Antec Earthwatt 500, and an 8800 GT video card if that helps.

Anyone have any suggestions?

wrong forum. it should be under general hardware.

GIGABYTE GA-EP45-DS3L is certainly an option for $99 + s&h

or GIGABYTE GA-EP35-DS3L for $84.99 + s&h

I wouldn't know for a fact, but I have heard that they are good. You can check the System building thread sticky in general hardware for other motherboards.

for 100 dollars, p35 seems the way to go. I have a evga 780i FTW, and i recently got my q6600 to 3 ghz. could go higher, but I think I want to get a real nice cooler first, my Cooler Master Gemini 2 isn't keeping it as cool as I would like. my memory is some 2x1 GB crucial ballistix, currently at 1142 5-5-4-12. I set it to unlinked to get more out of the memory.

Cpu core is about 1.385 V

EDIT: oh, forgot to mention, G0, VID = 1.25
