Allright, kiddies.. Your resident otter here, asking on the subject of overclocking. I have a Pentium3e, running with a base clock speed of 500mHz. Of course... The locked multiplier nature of this processer is extremly annoying to me. It's an Abit Be62, with a base 100mHz bus speed.. And all I have done sofar is up the bus to 133.

This has brought my speed up to 666... But I'm looking for more. What ideas/suggestions do you have for me? I've got a good cooler on it... I run idle 29-33c, and never over 38.

I want speeeeed. >) Help!

aren't we all! :D
seriously though, you'll need to crank up the fsb even more to go any futher & probably the cpu voltage as well to keep the o/clock stable!

make sure your ram and mobo can handle the extra fps
if your ram cant go over 133mhz then neither will your cpu

then up your voltage and fbs

Mrah. ^_^

Thanks, all... Thats what I was expecting. -.-

Can anyone tell me what a good speed is? I'm not experiencing any difficulties with 133fsb... But... ;o) I hate trial and error... Blue screen of deaths... -.-

And how can I tell if my memory's getting... 'crispy'? :)

Also... I shoulda probably posted a new thread alltogether for this, but whats a good AGP bus speed? >)

I'm at 89 now!

And.... Know nearly nothing about hardware...

Erf. I'm a programmer, help me with my hardware woes. ;)
