How I can overclock my gateway g6-400 November 1998 system. There are no jumpers on my motherboard and my BIOS software won't let me adjust anything, what do I do?
I have a 200 watt power supply and an asus 7700 deluxe agp card a 120 mm fan blowing in the front, 2- 80 mm blowing out the back and an alpha 1ho dual fan heat sink on my p2 secc 1 processor w/ 256 Mb ram. please help

Well maybe....

There is a slim chance that you can use H.oda's Soft Frontside Bus proggie to bump up the FSB for a few more mhz. You'll have to download the utility here:

Then you'll have to identify which PLL chip your mobo uses and see of SoftFSB supports it. The PLL chip is usually located near the CPU. It is a small IC and will be found close to the clock crystal (an oblong silver-colored metal thing about 3/4-inch long).
